Fox "News" Suggests Martial Law is Imminent

http://www.breadwithcircus.com/#050109

Every news story I've seen about this flu has included pictures of people wearing masks, doctors, children, people in airports, while the announcer intones that we should not panic... this of course only serves to creat panic. The governments of the world want to keep us afraid. Scared people are easy to control. A relative handful of  people have gotten sick and fewer have died. More have died of cancer, AIDS, a war in Iraq based on lies, an invasion of a sovreign people by a religious group - no one has dropped everything to stop any of this, but someone coughs and we can have our rights (granted by our 'creator') taken away as if they are not rights, but priveleges. Perhaps that's all they really are. Do you believe in the Constitution and a government of laws? Or do you believe in a government of men?

The Iraq war has been a monstrous crime

With your money, in your name....
Notice that the soldier in this video is wearing a mask to hide his identity. Who else wears a mask... is he Spiderman? Batman? In real life, a criminal wears a mask to hide his identity.

The Federal Reserve Monopoly over Money

http://www.house.gov/paul/tst/tst2007/tst040907.htm

The following is an article written by Dr. Ron Paul:

April 9,  2007

Recently I had the opportunity to question Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke when he appeared before the congressional Joint Economic committee.  The topic that morning was the state of the American economy, and many of my colleagues raised questions about how the Fed might better "regulate" things to ease fears of an economic downturn.  The tenor of my colleagues' questions suggested that Mr. Bernanke's job is nothing less than to run the U.S. economy, like some kind of Soviet central planner.

Certainly it’s true that Mr. Bernanke can drastically affect the economy at the drop of a hat, simply by making decisions about the money supply and interest rates.  But why do members of Congress assume this is good?  Why do we accept without objection that a small group of people on the Federal Reserve Board wields so much power over our economic well-being?  Is centralized, monopoly control over our money even compatible with a supposedly free-market economy?

Few Americans give much thought to the Federal Reserve System or monetary policy in general.  But even as they strive to earn a living, and hopefully save or invest for the future, Congress and the Federal Reserve Bank are working insidiously against them.  Day by day, every dollar you have is being devalued.

The greatest threat facing America today is not terrorism, or foreign economic competition, or illegal immigration.  The greatest threat facing America today is the disastrous fiscal policies of our own government, marked by shameless deficit spending and Federal Reserve currency devaluation.  It is this one-two punch-- Congress spending more than it can tax or borrow, and the Fed printing money to make up the difference-- that threatens to impoverish us by further destroying the value of our dollars.

The Fed’s inflationary policies hurt older people the most.  Older people generally rely on fixed incomes from pensions and Social Security, along with their savings.  Inflation destroys the buying power of their fixed incomes, while low interest rates reduce any income from savings.  So while Fed policies encourage younger people to overborrow because interest rates are so low, they also punish thrifty older people who saved for retirement.

The financial press sometimes criticizes Federal Reserve policy, but the validity of the fiat system itself is never challenged.  Both political parties want the Fed to print more money, either to support social spending or military adventurism.  Politicians want the printing presses to run faster and create more credit, so that the economy will be healed like magic- or so they believe.

Fiat dollars allow us to live beyond our means, but only for so long.  History shows that when the destruction of monetary value becomes rampant, nearly everyone suffers and the economic and political structure becomes unstable. Spendthrift politicians may love a system that generates more and more money for their special interest projects, but the rest of us have good reason to be concerned about our monetary system and the future value of our dollars.

Hate Crime 101

The following says it better than I could

Hate Crime 101

What is it about the human being that has become convinced they will never have to go through life without someone else offending them? Why do people demand protection from a system that can only show up late and draw the chock line around the victim? It never ceases to amaze me the level of stupidly from our fellow citizens and governing body of legislators which brings this post smack dab into latest Orwellian Thought Crime bill that is heading to Obama's desk and will undoubtedly be signed into law. It is a Federal power grab pure and simple so please, look at what it does, and I quote:

"On a vote of 249-175, the House passed and sent to the Senate a bill backed by the new Democratic White House to broaden such laws by classifying as "hate crimes" those attacks based on a victim's sexual orientation, gender identity or mental or physical disability. The current law, enacted four decades ago, limits federal jurisdiction over hate crimes to assaults based on race, color, religion or national origin."

This is all good and fine as the first hate bill is in my opinion totally unnecessary, but this new measure goes way past the first.

"The bill would lift a requirement that a victim had to be attacked while engaged in a federally protected activity, like attending school, for it to be a federal hate crime. I urge members on both sides of the aisle to act on this important civil rights issue by passing this legislation to protect all of our citizens from violent acts of intolerance," Obama said in a statement before the vote.

But now HERE comes the kicker. Pay careful attention friends as this is where your rights get trampled and even a small altercation could get you a felony conviction and YEARS in prison.

"Conviction of a hate crime carries stepped up punishment, above and beyond that meted out for the attack. The bill would allow the federal government to help state and local authorities investigate hate crimes."

Is this really a job for our Federal Government? Talk about an all enslaving big brother attitude. This bill will leave the door open for the FBI to investigate every traffic accident, every fist fight behind the bar, every domestic dispute and every quarrel in public between any individuals so that our loving, from cradle to grave protectors, can determine if there MAY have been some form of "hate" involved.

What a slippery slope we are now teetering on. Get ready, as Obama's 3.4 TRILLION dollar budget is now ramping up the next supreme alphabet agency bloat group of the week, the HCIA, which is coming to a town near you. Now we can all feel even safer as the Hate Crime Investigation Agency will be listening for any fighting interracial couple uttering racist slurs or an undesirable repeating a lawyer joke. When an illegal alien broadsides you with out insurance and they let him go while you recover in the hospital, better not mention the unjust treatment you feel or off to prison you go for a heinous hate crime. Didn't tip that dark skinned waitress because the food was lousy and the service worse? This could be a hate crime because you happen to be a different nationally than she. Think I am joking, you best hope the joke is not leveled on you in the tune of twelve years in lock down with your new wife Bubba as after all, posting this very statement could be considered a hate crime as well.

These kind of laws that try to legislate thought and human emotion are the ultimate big brother incursion of our rights. The underlying strategy is to make everyone guilty of something and this draconian pile of putrid trash disguised as a protective law is just what the feds need to assume our guilt while leaving the proof of our innocence up to us.

In signing off I just want to ask, Don't we have enough people in prison? Is this extension of an already unjust law really going to protect anyone, or is it designed to further fill our privately own capitalist rehabilitation systems? Furthermore, how much longer do we as citizens have before they label dissident as a hate crime, and start filling up those Fema Camps that dont exist?
